Guestbook

When we started to embark on this time line of musical appreciation, we always knew that some day things would get out of control and that we would have to somehow communicate with people outside of our reality. We appreciate your comments and any suggestions you can pass along.

One with nature, one with time. These things too shall pass. As for me, I sit and stare and wonder; about the new beginning.

alas... one with nature... one with gravity. Little to want for and less to need. but what is this??????? Something overlooked????? not complete.... yes! for the overlord he handed me his sword as if I would know what to do with it. and like nature he became dispassionate, withdrawn and selfish.... now all that is left is what is left to do.

How dare you try to know all about time! I am the god and all there is to know about it. Don't forget what time is for and you will learn that it is a tool not measurement. Your life here depends on the ticks and the tocks. With out them you can never rock!

Hey Edgewater, sorry to hear about your bluegill. The Crappies might still be running if you are looking for a replacement. Speaking of crappies, how's you're wife? I really have to get a paying gig so that I can help all the others who need to replace there bluegill with some good old fashioned guru speaking music and allow them the time to plant some flowers.

Yeah, you're right. I really do know what they want, but they still are creepy some times. Actually, I'm waiting to see my first Robin of the Springtime. They piss me off because they don't fly away from me, they usually just walk across the street. Crows are good, robins have become fellow citizens and act like they own the place.

Bonjour! The time line thins between the past and the future, and it's too cold for the crows to flock in large numbers. Another war looms ahead and we can only hope that the song "Throwing Rocks" by the Time Garage will finally get some recognition. One line from the song comes to mind; "the weather here tonight seems strange". Don't forget to order your "FREE GUEE GUEE" from our main page on this site. Most of the orders received so far are from foreign countries and supplies are running low. For our friends in Mexico, Turkey, and France..... your shipments are coming soon. The Time Garage may be slow, but we shall eventually deliver. For the people of the world, we come from the Future to You! We plant flowers and make beautiful music. Peace. --Deadbone--

Our fellow band mates, "Add Cabbage", and "You're Pretty" are playing gigs this weekend. If you happen to be in the Milwaukee area, go to Thai Joe's on friday to see Add Cabbage, and go to the Globe East on saturday to see You're Pretty. This is quite an unusual opportunity for members of our Karass to witness a truly meaningful event. Never before have these two great acts ever played so close together. The only thing missing is the Time Garage and that, as we all know, will only happen in the Future. Someday... the perfect Trifecta. From the Future to You!!! Love, Dave. P.S...Big Dave is expecting a baby. He should be pounding extra hard on his drums with You're Pretty.

Dearest Eve and Jabba, fear not for me, for I believe we all mean the same thing. The coatrack babble is only a reference to a song the Time Garage Gurus wrote about a presidential election between Reagan and Dukakis. At the time it seemed better to follow anything besides one of those two. I personally don't hang my coat on anything either but it does end up just where it should be. I warmly await my future days and do not regret the past. I was helping move my father to Arizona recently and don't hate the old people there, but they did give my brother and me some dirty looks because we were too young. The asshole referred to was my dad's wife and she would not be offended by my comment. For myself, I prefer to plant flowers and make beautiful music, but in deference to Eve, I will no longer emplore people to follow the coatrack, but will try to empower the world some other way. To Jabba: To live in Long Lake I know that you understand bridges. Perhaps I will see you on one of them some day. I fear them not. Peace.

I'm amused to find myself in this cryptic place.Though not my intended destination, there is no such thing as coincidental landing in my journey, so I'm compelled to stay a while. The one who calls itself Deadbone: "...Farewell happy fields, where joy forever dwells: hail horrors, hail, Infernal world, and thou, profoundest hell-Receive thy new posessor: one who brings a mind not to be changed by place or time. The mind is its own place, and in itself can make a heav'n of hell, a hell of heav'n. What matter where, if I be still the same, and what should I be, all but less than he whom thunder hath made greater?...Here we may reign secure, and in my choice to reign is worth ambition though in hell:Better to reign in hell than to serve in heav'n." ( John Milton) Translation to your world: Perhaps you see your planets and their dwellers as decaying slums that shelter assholes who have increasingly become paranoid because this is a mirror of your own reality. Then, by stressing the characteristics of the hell that you also exist in, you become the reigning king of said paranoid assholes. It would be a far truer challenge to look at these errant creatures through a loving, courageous, servant's eyes;to see them as sad, sick, and suffering from lack of nurturance and self-awareness.Then you'd have to feel a real emotion and not the pseudo-feeling of anger muted by superiority. So, my fellow journeyor, follow the coatrack if that is your wish, but with the understanding that there are those among us who prefer to throw our coats on floors, fold them over chairs, or give them to those who have grown up naked and shivering. One more thing- consider the possibility that the coatrack may just be a well-camoflauged spiritual evil-doer, sent to distract you from the true dream of the living. Peace and Courageous Choices to you.

Deadbone, the present you witnessed in Sun City is your future unless you change the path you are on. View your journey as one of the many bridges that you can cross to you future. Life places many long bridges in our path. These bridges may frighten you, and some lead to nowhere. Be wise though because most bridges are safe passages to our next peak, and will prevent us from being consumed by the swift current below. Embrace your bridges to your peaceful future in the same manner that you embrace the coatrack.

The year 2001 is now. Where is my space oddessy and my flying car? Have the crows outside my house done something to hide my future? Where is the kind neighbor behind my backyard fence, and who will invite me to cook burgers in the summertime? I guess that some things are more exciting when you get there if you don't know what lies(?) ahead.

Back from the Land of the Strange. Bits of wisdom? Maybe... Um, Don't wait until you're way old to do what you really want to do with your life; and when you do get that old, don't decieve yourself into thinking that anything will be different than what you were already doing before. Once an asshole, always an asshole, so don't be an asshole! Paranoia sets in, war is declared. Anyway, it is much better to live your life planting flowers and making beautiful music. Dear Jabba, I hear your quotes and have come looking for you. I have been to a Long Lake and learned to hold my breath there, long enough till someone touched me and brought me back. I have come to return the experience. - Be not alone when the dusk turns to dawn, and the blue sky turns to storm, for you are not alone, we wait for you at home.- Is this the past, or only just the beginning? I have a friend named Olyver who has always reminds me that your reality is where you want it to be, and you should keep it with you whenever you put your shoes on for the day, especially if you are going out to the Time Garage.

Alone From childhood's hour I have not been As others were--I have not seen As others saw--I could not bring My passions from a common spring-- From the same source I have not taken My sorrow--I could not awaken My heart to joy at the same tone-- And all I lov'd--I lov'd alone-- Then--in my childhood--in the dawn Of a most stormy lie--was drawn From ev'ry depth of good and ill The mystery which binds me still-- From the torrent, or the fountain-- From the red cliff of the mountain-- From the sun that round me roll'd In its autumn tint of gold-- From the lightning in the sky As it pass'd me flying by-- From the thunder, and the storm-- And the cloud that took the form (When the rest of Heaven was blue) Of a demon in my view-- Edgar Allan Poe 1875

The Time Garage has been on an extended visit to Planet 9. Bad vibes and babies forced a temporary retreat to a safer realm, but do not fear, the world is almost ready for mass infusion from the Time Garage. Although we are not trying to form our own religion, we have received periodic help from Jesus' Warehouse, and Commenwealth International. We thank them. The Coatrack which you seek is underneath your hat. If you don't have a hat, then it's underneath your coat. If you don't have a coat, I suggest that you look in your underpants, and if you don't wear underpants, then you have already become one with nature. One with nature, and all of its' subsequent effections.

I am a student of the Time Garage, and have a question about the following lyrics written by the Time Garage Gurus. *** "Throwing rocks at the soldiers in the road. There's a revolution there I'm told. I'm at home watching it on tv. Seems like a bad dream from here to me." [Copyright-TGG-1999}*** My question is this: Even though the lyrics to that song were written about a different war other than Kosovo, why are the words still very applicable to our current events. They aren't throwing rocks in Yugoslavia yet, but wait until next week! TRIVIA QUESTION: What year was "Throwing Rocks" written in? CLUE: It was the year that Tina Turner played the headline stage at Summerfest in Milwaukee.
